The summer was finishing and we couldn’t pass the opportunity to paint a mural inspired on Alfonso Morales Mexican cartonería (traditional pepier maché). With a well known phrase of Morales “viva la cartonería” we took two days to have fun on this mural. Ryan, Gabriela, Etla and Alfonso, together just for painting and enjoy the colors. We had the honor to share this time together. Making a mural is an activity outdoors that let us share time and enjoy what we love. We hope to see you again maestro Morales!

The mural is located in front of a latino neighborhood. While we were painting we received positive comments about the colorful a meanful to them. We are glad to leave some of us in this part of Minneapolis.
