My most precious toy was clay. Since I was a child I remember that I have loved the freedom that this material offers, which allows me to materialize almost anything that comes from my imagination.
It was at the age of 17 when I formalized this passion by taking part in a workshop, “El Abrevadero de las Musas” (The Watering Hole of the Muses), by architect Luis Arturo Barreiro, a prominent marble sculptor. During this workshop I decided to study sculpture and to continue to follow my passion.
Destiny took me to the School of Fine Arts where I studied design and received the merit scholarship from the Columbus College of Art & Design. My professional life has been linked to design, while my love for Mexico and its folk art history have lead me to to countinue doing sculpture and crafts.
