I’m Yesi Pérez (she/her/hers), a Latinx creative and proud Milwaukee Southsider. I’m a graduate of Marquette University and the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where I studied political science and studio art.

While I prefer working traditionally through painting, I also enjoy exploring other mediums, such as digital illustration and culinary art. My work often explores themes of mental health, emotions, stewardship, nature, identity, growth, life, death, and cultural intersections. I love playing with color and creating pieces that carry heavy symbolism and meaning. My goal is to make art, food, and spaces that fosters reflection, conversation, and connection.
